Terms
Last updated 13 July 2026
These terms cover your use of Ouvela. They are written to be readable; the headings below summarize the agreement between you and Ouvela when you use the service.
What Ouvela is
Ouvela reads medical records you provide and explains them in plain language, then organizes them on your timeline. It is a comprehension and organization tool.
Not medical advice
Ouvela explains, it does not diagnose. The explanations are not medical advice, not a diagnosis, and not a substitute for a qualified clinician. Always confirm anything that matters with your doctor. Do not use Ouvela for emergencies; contact your local emergency services.
Your account and the people you invite
You are responsible for your account and for the people you invite to it. Only add records for people you are entitled to manage, and only invite people you intend to share those records with. You can remove access at any time.
Acceptable use
- Do not upload records you have no right to access.
- Do not attempt to break the isolation between accounts or to access another account’s records.
- Do not misuse the service to harm others or to break the law.
Plans and payment
Ouvela is free to start. Paid plans are billed in US dollars at checkout. You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future charges and does not delete your records unless you ask.
Your content
Your records remain yours. You grant Ouvela only the permissions needed to read, explain, store, and show them back to you and the people you invite. We do not use your records to train AI and we do not sell them. See the Privacy page.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Ouvela available and accurate, but we provide it as is and cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update these terms; we will note the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app.
